Orillia Community Kitchen
Community kitchens are cooking programs where small groups of people come together to prepare meals and enjoy what they have made together. Orillia Community Kitchen's goal is to bring action to the Orillia Food Council's strategic initiative to enhance local food knowledge and food literacy.

Food Distribution Centres
Several institutions exist in Orillia that provide emergency food supplies to those in need. Along with distributing food, additional programs may be provided to increase food security for Orillians.

Meal Programs
For those in need of a hot meal, there are a variety of local institutions serving prepared food each day.

Community Gardens
There are a myriad on community gardening initiatives in Orillia, and prosepective gardeners have many options available to them. There are communal drop-in gardens, food bank gardens, allotment gardens, and school garden projects.

The Good Food Box
The Good Food Box is available to everybody! It is similar to a buying club, with an exclusive focus on fresh fruits and vegetables. Beautiful produce is provided to customers at a very affordable price, and boxes are available for either larger or smaller households. No commitments or membership fees, just incredible, healthy food!
