Orillia Community Kitchen is an initiative that aims to get everyone cooking! The goal is to bring people together, in certified open kitchen space, to share food, learn new cooking skills and build community.

Workshops run once a week, and each session is lead by a facilitator. Participants drop-in to learn to prepare a nutritous, local, cost effective meal, which is then enjoyed by the group. Don't forget to bring a container, because there's usually leftovers too!

Facilitators are passionate foodies with a wide range of expertise, from trained professionals to home-cooks demonstrating that special dish everyone asks them the recipe for. Everyone is encouraged to try facilitating! Those who may be interested, but are not entirely about leading a group will be assisted by our volunteers through our kitchen and facilitator resources.

Whether you love to cook or are brand new to the culinary arts, there are great experiences to be had and new friends to be made at the Orillia Community Kitchen.
